Tears of Regret was created by projecting 16mm film loops onto layers of scrim. The dancer moved through the layers interacting with the material and images.
The underlying theme deals with peoples' tendencies to build a fence of routine around their lives. They trap themselves, never allowing themselves the opportunity to break free.
