Sponsored by British Council Taipei, “Memory Puzzle” is about the simple fact that things passed can never happen again, but memories exist, so we never stop remembering and trying to solve the puzzles in our head. To unveil the beauty in dreamlike memories, we projected images onto the back of the stage, the dancers’ bodies and a sequence using a 12m sheer fabric scrim to create a 'Magic Box' for the dancers to interact with. Rain drops are transformed into sparkling stars. The videos best illustrate the theme of the show: so much blurring and dislocating of events probably slip memories into the domain of dreams.
