Imagine arriving in Tokyo after an exhausting 12 hour flight. You find yourself in a taxi and in your jet lagged hazy brain you keep glimpsing amazing things all around you. Part of a 7 minute long large-scale projected sequence for a performance event commissioned by DT Ludens Japan

All the filming for the sequence was done in Tokyo just prior to the event. We would film during the day and evening then edit late into the night. Every few days the edit was shown to the event director for feedback.
Tokyo is such an amazing city to film, so visual. Over a 3 week period we went out every single day filming never getting bored. It was also an interesting project being asked to do a visual representation of Tokyo for a Japanese client not a western one. They were very interested in our interpretation of their capital city.
