BBC Wales required a title sequence for a 10 part documentary about the heritage of Welsh music and musicians. Because the program covered so many genres, our approach was to find a visual representation of music.
The title sequence was created by projecting still images onto layers of sheer nylon fabric then filmed using a 35m motion control camera. The movement is created by moving and distorting the nylon screens. There is no post production involved since the sequence was filmed in one continous take.
